Gabriel Corozo
Gabriel Eduardo Corozo Vásquez (born January 5, 1995) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays for Granada B in Spain, on loan from Udinese. Mainly a centre back, he can also play as a left back and defensive midfielder.
==Club career==
Born in Guayaquil, Corozo joined Academía Alfaro Moreno in 2005, aged ten.〔(Alfaro les da 'la patada' de la suerte (Alfaro gives the 'lucky shot') ); El Comercio, 1 September 2013 〕 In 2012 he moved to LDU Quito, in a season-long loan deal.
Corozo made his professional debut on 25 November 2012, replacing Ángel Cheme in the 79th minute of a 1–0 away win against CD Olmedo.〔(Olmedo 0–1 LDU Quito ); ESPN Deportes, 25 November 2012 〕 He appeared in two further matches during the campaign, and was later bought outright.
Corozo scored his first senior goal on 15 September 2013, netting his side's second in a 3–1 win at CSyD Macará.〔(Liga de Quito triunfa en Ambato ante Macará (Liga de Quito triumphs in Ambato against Macará) ); Futbolizados, 15 September 2013 〕 He was an ever-present figure in the season, contributing with 40 appearances.
